I didn’t pay attention to this story for a little while but now its everywhere, as it should be. The guy was bringing a pack o Skittles home for his little brother. It hits me. And its not just the racism and the murder but the laws that are in place that allow a murderer to be released on the night he killed someone. America may have put off their Big Gun Conversation for as long as they could but it’s coming. I’m sorry for Trayvon and I’m sorry for his little brother that he bought the Skittles for. And I’m sorry for all the folks in America that know it should be better than this by now.
