• Your iSenseChange Guide to 2012 //
  • In January of 2006 the blogger SenseChange was born. Since that time Sense has called out corrupt regimes, faked his own death, became the defacto leader of the prolific Gonzo Warriors and ripped off the good Dr Hunter S. Thompson wherever and whenever he could. And made seemingly mad predictions, from the death of status quo Capitalism to Joe Biden becoming V.P., that kept coming true, over and over again. And now he's calling for a Renaissance.. //

Comic by Nich Anderson of the Houston Chronicle. I had this same thought as Mitt ‘the Shit’ Romney so cowardly ducked repeated questions about his stance on eviscerating FEMA, turning disaster response over to the states or privatizing it.
Not hearing much from Paul Ryan either, who, like epic douche Eric Cantor, would very much like to first see cuts to match any emergency spending, which means all you have to have is a few big disasters and all those programs Republicans hate will finally be gone and there will be absolutely nothing left to monitor their Big Business masters. All the brave blusterers against the government doing, well, anything at all are very, very, quiet. Their silence is deafening.
And vote. All of you. If you don’t think there’s a difference between these two guys, you’re as nuts as anybody else is. And if you don’t vote, I’m saying you’re a stupid, stupid, stupid asshole.
Sincerely,
iSenseChange

Best quote I’ve heard on it so far is that trying to fix the deficit by cutting PBS is like taking a Winnebago to get to the moon

“Are You Better Off?” Stupid. Fucking. Question.

“Are you better off now than you were four years ago? Stupid. Fucking. Question. George ‘Dubya’ Bush broke everything worth breaking and within reach, did everything short of burning the Whitehouse to the ground, from Foreign Policy to the economy to you name it and the question is “Are you better off?”

Yes. The whole world is. The stupidest, most dangerous president in American history is out of the picture.

The reason the Republicans never mention George W Bush is the exact same reason the Democrats should mention him daily: people will remember what a witless asshole George Bush was and how terrible a job he did and what a stinking mess he left for Obama, who, yes, is still trying to fix a shit-awful stinking fucking mess.

“Are you better off?” Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Fucking. Question.

Anonymous asked: newsflash: OBAMA KNEW ABOUT THREATS TO OUR EMBASSY SINCE SEPTEMBER 4 AND DID NOTHING! No protection he is an incompetent PATHETIC excuse for POTUS and has BLOOD on his hands. Attacking Romney is just a distraction from the EPIC FAIL that is Barry and his lapdog media are too happy to try and protect the Amateur who is CLUELESS. THIS IS OBAMA'S FAULT. His days are numbered.

Obama’s days aren’t numbered (and I assume you mean that in a political sense but you never know these days). Mitt has no shot and is actually getting worse on an almost daily basis. In times of turbulent, dangerous international incidents, few folks would have had time to attack Romney (especially when he’s CLEARLY his own worst enemy) had he not stuck his beak in, made stuff up and played shameless politics on the very day of a tragedy, an action many in his own party think was an exceptionally stupid and desperate move, nutball media conspiracy theories aside. To your other utterly inane (silly, empty, void) point, embassies get attacked all the time, including the following under your beloved George ‘Dubya’ Bush’s foul reign:

June 14, 2002, U.S. consulate in Karachi, Pakistan
Suicide bomber kills 12 and injures 51.

February 20, 2003, international diplomatic compound in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Truck bomb kills 17.

February 28, 2003, U.S. consulate in Karachi, Pakistan
Gunmen on motorcycles killed two consulate guards.

July 30, 2004, U.S. embassy in Taskkent, Uzbekistan
Suicide bomber kills two.

December 6, 2004, U.S. consulate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Militants stormed and occupied perimeter wall. Five killed, 10 wounded.

March 2, 2006, U.S. consulate in Karachi, Pakistan
Suicide car bomber killed four, including a U.S. diplomate directly targeted by the assailants.

September 12, 2006, U.S. embassy in Damascus, Syria
Gunmen attacked embassy with grenades, automatic weapons, and a car bomb (though second truck bomb failed to detonate). One killed and 13 wounded.

January 12, 2007, U.S. embassy in Athens, Greece
A rocket-propelled grenade was fired at the embassy building. No one was injured.

July 9, 2008, U.S. consulate in Istanbul, Turkey
Armed men attacked consulate with pistols and shotguns. Three policemen killed.

March 18, 2008, U.S. embassy in Sana’a, Yemen
Mortar attack misses embassy, hits nearby girls’ school instead.

September 17, 2008, U.S. embassy in Sana’a, Yemen
Militants dressed as policemen attacked the embassy with RPGs, rifles, grenades and car bombs. Six Yemeni soldiers and seven civilians were killed. Sixteen more were injured.

Of course, if indeed your source on Obama knowing of an attack on September 4th is true (and I’m doubtful, as I often find the article sourcing by folks that yammer in excessive all caps and poor grammar to be dubious at the best of times but hey, prove me wrong) then you would have to also claim Bush was wholly responsible (had blood on his hands etc) for the attacks on 911, due to the mountains of evidence and congressional investigation results demonstrating he and Cheney at least received the reports, even if they never read or gave a shit about them. Otherwise you would be a massive hypocrite in denial of the facts and therefore, a decent candidate for Republican leadership. Here’s the latest: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/11/opinion/the-bush-white-house-was-deaf-to-9-11-warnings.html

But I digress. Trying to blame the embassy attack on the President (let alone openly making up stuff about it) shows the character of not just Mitt the Shit but also your political party and, in fact, people like you.

Mitt will lose and he deserves it. I understand if you’re upset. I would be too if my ideology was crumbling all around me. But playing politics with tragedy and the lives of widely respected people like US ambassador Stevens, working complex jobs in foreign lands in the name of your country, independent of what party is in power is low, disgusting behavior. Feel shame.

p.s. Anonymous? This isn’t Mitt, is it?

Paul Ryan is Not “Bold”

He’s not. Stop saying it. He’s never stood up to his own party on a matter of principle. In fact, he’s never, in his life, voted against a single thing that the uberwealthy, real-life supervillain Koch Brothers ever wanted. He never, not even once, voted against a single thing that the stupidest yet most dangerous president in American history, George ‘Dubya’ Bush ever wanted.

Stuttering half-wit George ‘Dubya’ Bush broke everything worth breaking and within reach but he didn’t and couldn’t have done it alone, not without enablers in Congress like Paul Ryan who gleefully voted in favor, every time, for every single massive deficit-increasing program or idea he could.  From the meaningless, stupid wars to the huge unpaid-for taxcuts for the rich to you name it, he voted for it and now he’s cussing out Democrats as the big spenders. Nothing ‘bold’ there, only so much bullshit.

Finally, cutting programs for the poor, the old and the disenfranchised isn’t even remotely bold. They don’t have lobbyists shoveling money around Washington and laying out huge expenditures to play commercials against their political enemies and do you want to know why? It’s because they don’t got shit, Lebowsky. They’re just trying to get by.  So, cutting their programs and shovelling YET MORE MONEY at the already wealthiest of the wealthy is actually the opposite of bold. Try ‘cravenly’. Try ‘greedy’. Or just call him an asshole and be done with it.

"That is so different from what my book actually says that I have to doubt whether Mr. Romney read it"

Mitt Romney quotes a book, book’s author calls him out for misquoting and poor reading. Mitt can’t do a single thing right. Worst candidate and campaign in presidential history

A man who refuses to take responsibility for his own company and says he is not accountable for anything that happened there even as he remained CEO is not someone who would be an accountable president.

— Andrew Sullivan nails it. That’s a universal truth.
